4. Long Beach will raise parking tickets to avoid library cuts in last-minute budget maneuver (lbpost.com) — Long Beach leaders have approved a $4 billion city budget that raises many parking tickets to $100 and increases cannabis taxes to preserve library hours and some specialized police positions.
