2-Year-Old Abducted In Los Angeles, Amber Alert Issued
Authorities are searching for the 2-year-old and a 33-year-old man identified as a suspect in the abduction.

LOS ANGELES, CA — An Amber Alert was activated Thursday for a 2-year-old child who authorities said was abducted or taken in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department for Jax Robottom, 2, and identified Marcus Clayton, 33, as the suspect.
Jax and Clayton were last seen at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Figueroa Street and Slauson Avenue, just west of the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles, according to the alert.

Jax is 3 feet tall, weighs about 30 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue shirt.
Clayton is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His clothing was unknown.

The bulletin did not provide information about a vehicle, the circumstances surrounding the child's disappearance or the relationship between Clayton and Jax.
Anyone who sees Jax or Clayton was urged to call 911.
