Man Dead After Drunken Fight In Westlake

WESTLAKE, CA — One man died after a drunken fight with another man Saturday in Westlake.

Authorities responded to the fight around 2:47 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Third and Bonnie Brae streets, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson.

Both parties were fighting while intoxicated and separated once police arrived, the LAPD said.

The victim, described only as a man in his 30s, became unresponsive shortly after the two men were separated.

The other man was taken into custody, police said.
