The HearAid Foundation is hosting its 5th Annual "Heroes for Hearing 5K Run" on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach and Long Beach Patch readers get a special discount code! This community-focused event aims to bring people together to run for fun, compete, and ultimately raise funds to give the gift of hearing to those in need.Adding to the excitement, the event will feature a special guest appearance by ALI, a popular standout contestant from Season 23 of NBC’s The Voice. The event includes two distinct races to accommodate participants of all ages and fitness levels:
- 5K Run/Walk: Kicks off at 8:00 AM. Pricing is $45
- Kid’s Dash: Kicks off at 9:15 AM; Pricing is $15 until August 15, and $20 on or after August 15
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K category. All participants are guaranteed a medal, and those who register by July 24 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
