• Pup Pilates brings health and community to dogs and owners (losaltosonline.com) — Dog owners in Los Altos can join weekly Pup Pilates classes every Wednesday evening at DogmaFit on Second Street, where both people and pets work on core strength and bonding. Led by veterinary chiropractor Jamie Lucia, the sessions blend dog-focused conditioning, human mat Pilates, and a calming, community-oriented environment. Classes run 6:30-8:30 p.m. and cost $25.

Community Plan; and More (cp-dr.com) — State housing officials have warned Los Altos that if local Measure D passes in November, the city could lose its coveted Prohousing designation and be forced to rewrite its state-approved housing plan, jeopardizing dozens of planned homes on downtown parking plazas. • Volunteers set to advocate for Santa Clara County's foster youth (eastbaytimes.com) — Santa Clara County just welcomed 29 new CASA volunteers, adding trained advocates to support children in the foster care system and aiming to better reflect the county's diversity. Meanwhile, Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action, which has a Mountain View–Los Altos chapter, earned a 2026 Nonprofit Impact Award for empowering local teens to lead climate education, advocacy and community projects.
