• Update: Bagby Fire in Mariposa County hits 83% containment (sacbee.com) — Fire crews have brought the Bagby Fire near Bagby Recreational Campground in Mariposa County to 83% containment after burning about 25 acres since June 8. Eighty-five firefighters, engines, aircraft, and hand crews remain on scene as officials work to secure the remaining fireline and investigate the cause, while explaining what containment percentages really mean for local residents.
