• Menifee Police Department's Pop Patrol to bring frozen treats to parks across the city (canyonlakeinsider.com) — Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 1, when Menifee Police will roll through four local parks handing out free frozen treats and stickers during their annual Pop Patrol. Families can meet officers, snap photos, and cool off at Lazy Creek Recreation Center, Audie Murphy Ranch House, Remington Park, and Banner Village Park during quick 30‑minute stops.
   

• African American fellowship's Greg Perkins explores ‘perversion of proximity' • Biblical Recorder (brnow.org) — Menifee readers may recognize Pastor Greg Perkins of The View Church, who is being honored nationally for his leadership of the National African American Fellowship while battling cancer.
