• An El Niño-Driven 'Kelvin Wave' Could Raise Bay Area Sea Levels and Flooding Risk (kqed.org) — Photos of king tide flooding in Mill Valley highlight how vulnerable low-lying spots around town could be if an El Niño-driven "Kelvin wave" temporarily raises Bay Area sea levels by about a foot this fall.
