• Milpitas Teens Arrested After Robbery, Assault Near School Campus; Firearms Found in Homes (newsbreak.com) — Police have arrested four teens after an August robbery and assault along East Calaveras Boulevard near Park Victoria Drive in Milpitas, close to the Milpitas Unified Innovation Campus and Sports Center. Officers say they recovered multiple firearms from three homes, highlighting ongoing concerns about youth violence and safety on a corridor already targeted for pedestrian and bike improvements. 
• Environmental Review Starts For Murphy Village, Milpitas (sfyimby.com) — Milpitas residents are being asked to weigh in as the city begins the environmental review for Murphy Village, a 791-home redevelopment of a 38.5-acre business park along Tasman Drive near Coyote Creek. The master plan includes single-family homes, townhomes, a five-story apartment complex, parks, and small retail space, with construction projected from 2028 through 2032.
