• A canceled grant program deemed 'discriminatory' by Trump spurs cuts at California colleges (edsource.org) — Moorpark College has lost a key federal grant that funded its STEM Impacto program, ending specialized counseling and stipends for many low-income and Latino science students. The cut is part of a broader Trump administration decision to halt new Hispanic-Serving Institution grants, forcing colleges statewide to scale back orientations, counseling, and workforce training. Local students now face finishing degrees without those extra supports.
