Crews clamped a leaking gas line after one business evacuated and another sheltered in place.

NAPA, CA — A gas leak led one south Napa business to evacuate and another to shelter in place Monday morning.

The call came in at 9:20 a.m. for a leak in a 2-inch gas line at the intersection of Camino Oruga and Camino Dorado, near a light industrial and warehouse district just south of the main city limits, located near the intersection of State Route 29 and State Route 12.

Crews responded and stopped the leak by clamping the pipe, Cal Fire Battalion Chief Jason Novak said.
