2. How Napa County is working to ease permitting for music festivals, other special events (pressdemocrat.com) — If you host festivals or large gatherings in unincorporated Napa County, new rules could soon make permits easier to get, with longer lead times, online applications, and more flexibility for late filings. Supervisors are weighing nonprofit cost concerns and plan outreach and feedback once the streamlined ordinance, slated for Jan. 1, 2027, comes up for final approval Sept. 15.

3. Napa County's regional climate action plan enters homestretch (napavalleyregister.com) — Napa County leaders are nearing final decisions on a $1.1 billion climate plan that could reshape how homes, wineries, farms, and tourists use energy and transportation across the valley. 4. Napa's Oxbow District gets blazing white gateway sign (pressdemocrat.com) — Drivers and pedestrians in Napa's Oxbow District will now be greeted by a bold new illuminated gateway sign over First Street, created and funded by local business stakeholders.
