• After Months of San Diego Budget Talks, Here's What Did and Didn't Make the Cut (voiceofsandiego.org) — San Diego’s newly approved budget cuts 37 city-funded beds at the Lighthouse Shelter in National City, meaning those beds will likely stay open but no longer be reserved for San Diego residents. The spending plan also trims other homelessness services, public restrooms, and safe parking, while preserving most arts funding, key library and recreation center hours, and traffic safety improvements citywide.
