• Sacramento Suburban Water District may buy Rancho Cordova company for $4.1M (sacbee.com) — North Highlands water customers could soon see their district directly owning a well maintenance company, a move officials say will cut long-term costs and speed repairs. Sacramento Suburban Water District plans a $4.1 million purchase of Rancho Cordova-based Kirby’s Pump and Mechanical, with a board vote expected Monday and the crew likely relocating to the district’s Auburn Yard facility.
