• Earthquake struck area close to Novato, CA: 2.4 magnitude reported on Sept. 26 (sacbee.com) — A minor 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck about a mile south-southwest of Novato on Saturday evening, shaking the area but not expected to cause damage. Residents are encouraged to report what they felt to USGS and review basic earthquake safety steps like drop, cover, and hold on, plus precautions to take in cars, outdoors, and at home after any tremor.
