13-Year-Old Who Died While Riding E-Motorcycle In OC ID'd
Authorities released the identity of the boy while investigators sought the public's help to determine what caused the crash.
GARDEN GROVE, CA — The 13-year-old boy who died in an e-motorcycle crash last week was identified Monday, while investigators sought the public's help to determine what caused the crash.
The boy who died in Thursday night's crash was identified as Benson Nguyen of Santa Ana.
The teen was riding the e-motorcycle at about 9:50 p.m. on Magnolia Street near Larson Avenue when he crashed, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.

Nguyen was in the left lane of Magnolia going about 35 miles per hour when he veered into the center median and lost control of the electric motorcycle, investigators said.
Police asked anyone who saw the collision or has video of it to come forward and call investigators at 714-741-5823 or email mlang@ggcity.org.
