Disneyland Visitor, 13, Falls Off Ride's 50-Foot Drop

The young visitor apparently climbed out of Tiana's Bayou Adventure before falling down the final drop.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A 13-year-old boy visiting Disneyland climbed out of Tiana's Bayou Adventure and fell down the 50-foot final drop on the log flume ride this past week, multiple reports said.

The incident happened at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, when the 13-year-old guest exited the ride and triggered a cast member to immediately stop the attraction, park officials said.

According to park officials, the ride remained closed for the rest of the injury.

The boy was taken to a local hospital and evaluated before being released, according to The Orange County Register.

According to the report, one Reddit user said the boy sustained minor cuts and scrapes, but managed to avoid any serious injuries.
