Dozens Of Riders Stranded, Evacuated From Disneyland Attraction
Dozens of passengers were evacuated when the monorail ride lost power at Disneyland Thursday.
ANAHEIM, CA — Dozens of riders were forced to evacuated after being stranded for hours on the monorail ride at Disneyland, KTLA reported.
Anaheim Fire Department crews were called to the theme park just before 5 p.m. when the monorail's beam lost power in the late afternoon, affecting two trains and leaving riders stranded for hours, the report said.
KTLA footage showed dozens of passengers, somewhere around 60 people, being evacuated from the trains by climbing down ladders.
