1. City of Oxnard Celebrates Groundbreaking of Endless Waves Skatepark, Future Home to an Olympic-Quality Skatepark (vidanewspaper.com) — Oxnard is moving ahead with the Endless Waves Skatepark at Del Sol Park, a nearly 40,000-square-foot, Olympic-quality facility that will be the largest skatepark in Ventura County. Funded with $4.5 million in ARPA money, the park is designed with local skaters’ input and will serve La Colonia, Rose Park, and surrounding neighborhoods when construction wraps up in spring 2027.
   

2. Month's-Long Narcotics Investigation Nets 12 Arrests (crimevoice.com) — A multi-month narcotics investigation across Ventura and Los Angeles counties has led to 12 arrests, including a 45-year-old man from Oxnard, and the seizure of about 20 pounds of drugs, guns, and suspected drug money. Detectives say couriers moved methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin from Los Angeles into Ventura County, and all named suspects are being held without bail while one remains at large on a felony warrant.
   

3. Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest of Oxnard Woman (crimevoice.com) — Ventura County detectives arrested a 34-year-old Oxnard woman after a months-long narcotics investigation tied to alleged drug sales in Camarillo. A May 29 traffic stop and a search of her Oxnard residence turned up suspected cocaine, psilocybin edibles, marijuana, and an unregistered loaded revolver, leading to multiple drug and firearm-related charges.
   

4. DNA Evidence Leads To Long Beach Man's Arrest In 1990 Cold Case (patch.com) — A Long Beach man has been arrested after new DNA testing linked him to a 1990 kidnapping and robbery of an 18-year-old woman in Oxnard, near Perkins and Hueneme roads. Oxnard police first aided the victim after her crash, and Ventura County investigators later used federal funding and advanced DNA technology to identify a suspect. Authorities now seek information on a possible accomplice and any related crimes.
