Human Trafficking Investigation Leads To Arrest In SMC: Police
A yearslong investigation led to search warrants at two locations and the identification of two trafficking victims, police said.
SAN BRUNO, CA — A human trafficking investigation led to search warrants Thursday at locations in San Bruno and South San Francisco, the identification of two victims and the arrest of a 27-year-old woman, police said.
San Bruno police served the warrants Thursday at locations on the 500 block of E. San Bruno Avenue in San Bruno and the 100 block of Gardiner Avenue in South San Francisco.
During the operation, officers contacted two victims and connected them with support services and other resources, according to police.

A 27-year-old South San Francisco resident was detained and later arrested after investigators developed probable cause for a pandering charge, police said.
The investigation was conducted over several years by the San Bruno Police Department's Investigative Services Section. Investigators developed leads, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence before obtaining the search warrants, police said.
