Thousands Of Customers Affected By Power Outage In Pacifica

PG&E was investigating the electrical system to identify damage and determine what repairs were needed.

PACIFICA, CA — More than 2,200 customers were affected by a power outage reported in Pacifica Friday afternoon, according to PG&E.

The outage was reported at 2:55 p.m. on Friday, with 2,209 customers affected, PG&E's outage information showed.

The utility said crews were evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs before safely restoring power.

PG&E estimated the power would be restored by 7 p.m. The cause of the outage had not yet been confirmed.
