• Update: Tommy Fire in Butte County remains 100% contained by Thursday morning (sacbee.com) — A small wildfire that started Tuesday afternoon near Tommy’s Place and Willow Creek Drive in Palermo has burned 10.9 acres but is now 100% contained, according to Cal Fire. Firefighters will keep working inside the perimeter while investigators look into the cause, so residents may still see smoke even though the blaze is no longer spreading.
