3 Injured After Rollover Crash On 10 Freeway In Riverside County

MECCA, CA — Three people were injured Wednesday morning after a vehicle rolled over and crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway in Mecca, fire officials said.

The single-vehicle crash was reported just before 11 a.m. west of the Cactus City rest area, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Three people were injured in the collision with injuries ranging from critical to minor. Two of the patients were transported to a hospital by helicopter, and one patient was transported by ground ambulance, fire officials said.

No freeway or lane closures were reported.

The cause of the crash was under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
