Condominium Catches Fire, Draws Huge Firefighter Response In La Quinta

Firefighters were on the scene for over an hour Friday battling the La Quinta condominum fire.

LA QUINTA, CA — A fire broke out Friday at a single-story condominium unit in La Quinta's PGA West community, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department shared.

Shortly after 8:50 a.m. Friday, the blaze broke out inside the condominium in the 80000 block of Cherry Hills Drive, according Cal Fire spokesperson Jasmine Wood.

Six engine crews were dispatched to the scene to douse the fire, which was knocked down shortly before 9:15 a.m.

No one was displaced in this incident, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
