Palm Springs Bicyclist Dies After Crash With Car
A vehicle traveling east on East Palm Canyon Drive struck the cyclist on Monday night.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle in Palm Springs, authorities said Tuesday.
Officers responded to a report of a collision at about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of East Palm Canyon Drive, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
A vehicle traveling east on East Palm Canyon Drive struck the cyclist. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The driver cooperated with investigators at the scene.
Impairment has not been identified as a factor in the crash, police said.
