California Avenue Crosswalk Work Brings Parking Restrictions To Palo Alto

Palo Alto's construction notice outlines parking restrictions and potential driveway closures during street improvements.

PALO ALTO, CA — Crews are scheduled to install stamped-asphalt crosswalks on California Avenue over the next week as part of ongoing street improvements, according to the city.

The work is planned for Wednesday through Friday, as well as next Monday.

The work follows pavement replacement earlier this month between El Camino Real and Birch Street. Crosswalk installation involves reheating the roadway surface, which the city says will produce minimal noise and a minor asphalt odor.
