City officials are extending emergency declarations, keeping bicycle restrictions on Palos Verdes Drive South, and racing to finish winterization and dewatering work before the rainy season to protect homes, roads, and utilities. 
• Home Sales Volume Shrinking - (randomlengthsnews.com) — Home sales across the South Bay, including Rancho Palos Verdes on the PV Hill, are down modestly from last year, even as prices remain roughly 45% above 2019 levels. The PV Hill market shows slightly lower year-to-date sales but rising median prices, with high interest rates and pandemic-era low mortgages keeping many potential sellers on the sidelines.
