• 1 Person Injured in Pasadena Car Accident at E. Colorado and N. Rosemead Boulevards (pacificattorneygroup.com) — An early-morning two-car collision at East Colorado Boulevard and North Rosemead Boulevard in Pasadena sent one woman to the hospital with apparent minor injuries. Firefighters briefly blocked northbound Rosemead during the rescue while Good Samaritans helped free a trapped occupant, and an investigation is underway into what caused the crash at this busy local intersection.
   

• Dog reunited with heroic firefighters who rescued him from Pasadena house fire (abc7.com) — Pasadena firefighters and neighboring crews recently rescued a 6-year-old Sheltie named Milo from a house fire and later reunited with him as he continued recovering. The dog was found unconscious in heavy smoke, revived with oxygen, and is now back to playing, while officials urge Pasadena pet owners to post signs indicating how many animals live inside their homes for emergencies.
   

• Sports Philanthropy World shakes up D.C. (foxsports1340am.com) — Pasadena will host Sports Philanthropy World in June 2026 and again in 2027, with the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation serving as presenting sponsor. Organizers expect at least 400 attendees, expanded awards, and higher-profile speakers, bringing athletes, nonprofits, and sports leaders together to share ways sports can strengthen communities nationwide.
