• Highway Closed As Vegetation Fire Grew In North Bay: CHP (patch.com) — Drivers around Petaluma faced a shutdown of Lakeville Highway Thursday afternoon as firefighters battled a fast-moving vegetation fire burning on both sides of the roadway. Crews quickly stopped the fire's forward progress after it threatened at least one structure and drew additional resources to secure the area near Old Lakeville Highway No. 2.
