• Man Arrested After Argument Escalates Into Carjacking And Assault With Weapon In Phelan (vvng.com) — A man was arrested after an argument in Phelan allegedly escalated into a carjacking and knife assault near Sheep Creek and El Mirage roads. Deputies say the suspect drove off with a woman still in the vehicle before later being arrested at his home. Residents with information are encouraged to contact the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station or submit anonymous tips.
