• Suspect, accused of shooting acquaintance in Pico Rivera, is charged with murder (sgvtribune.com) — A man has been charged in connection with a deadly early-morning shooting in a Pico Rivera neighborhood that killed 33-year-old resident Joseph Soto and left another man the alleged target of attempted murder. Prosecutors say the suspect, who has prior felony convictions, was arrested later that morning in Riverside County and remains in custody while investigators continue to withhold a possible motive.
