• Pittsburg's Fight Against Tobacco Use Earns Statewide Spotlight (contracosta.news) — Pittsburg is being recognized statewide for tough local rules that curb tobacco use, protect renters in multi-unit housing, and keep more public spaces smokefree. City leaders say they’ll keep strengthening these ordinances, especially to shield youth from vaping and flavored products, positioning Pittsburg as a public-health leader among California cities.
   

• County District Attorney's Office issues Annual Report (thepress.net) — Pittsburg residents now have a new Contra Costa County District Attorney branch office on Railroad Avenue, bringing prosecution and victim services closer to East County. The office’s 2025 Annual Report also details high conviction rates, major public corruption pleas involving Antioch and Pittsburg officers, and expanding restorative justice programs that aim to reduce reoffending across the county.
