• Boys basketball: Amador Valley banned from postseason for two years (fresnobee.com) — Amador Valley High's boys basketball team in Pleasanton has been stripped of wins involving an ineligible player and banned from postseason play beyond the EBAL tournament for the next two seasons, while the entire athletics department is on probation. School leaders say they self-reported the violations and are tightening eligibility checks and compliance training, though the North Coast Section may revisit the second year of the ban.
