• Election update: With 66,000 ballots left to count, Camacho and Canepa declare victory in June primary (almanacnews.com) — Portola Valley voters are poised to keep their current county supervisor, with incumbent Ray Mueller holding 86% of the vote in District 3, which includes the town. Countywide, Héctor Camacho has declared victory for superintendent of schools and David Canepa leads decisively for the powerful assessor-clerk-recorder-elections post, as tens of thousands of ballots continue to be processed.
