• Beach Boys Abruptly Push Back Their Delayed 2026 Tour (q1077.com) — Poway residents can catch Beach Boys cofounder Al Jardine and his Pet Sounds Band live at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 10. The show is part of Jardine's fall tour, announced alongside news that the Mike Love–fronted Beach Boys have pushed several Endless Summer Gold Tour dates into October and beyond after a string of cancellations.
   

• Community Development Block Grant 2027- 2028 (California) (fundsforngos.org) — Poway organizations are reminded that while the county's new Community Development Block Grant cycle is open, projects serving Poway residents must apply through the city's own CDBG program instead. The county's grants focus on unincorporated areas, funding housing, infrastructure, public services, and economic development for low- and moderate-income residents across San Diego County.
