ā¢ Carol Ann Prentice Lawson (plumassun.org) ā Longtime Quincy resident Carol Ann Prentice Lawson, a devoted gardener and animal lover, has died at home after a short illness. She worked in food service, including at Plumas District Hospital, and was active in the hospitalās Senior Life Solutions community. A memorial will be held at a later date.

ā¢ Scam targets county planning department customers (plumassun.org) ā If youāre dealing with Plumas Countyās planning department from Quincy, be on high alert for scam emails demanding wire payments for application fees. County staff stress they will never request fees by wire transfer and urge residents to ignore suspicious links, not reply, and report concerns directly to Planning Director Tracey Ferguson by phone or email.
