Giants Use Long Ball to Set Quakes Down (milb.com) — Rancho Cucamonga Quakes fans saw San Jose slug their way to a 13-3 win at Morongo Field, despite home runs from Hayden Alvarez and Gabriel Davalillo. The Quakes look to bounce back tonight at 6:05 p.m., with Family Feast Night offering discounted ballpark favorites for local fans.

3. Homeless navigation center breaks ground (iebusinessdaily.com) — Rancho Cucamonga is partnering with nearby cities and San Bernardino County on a new 200-bed West End Regional Navigation Center in Fontana to help move homeless residents into permanent housing. The low-barrier facility will offer shelter plus behavioral health, medical care, case management, transportation, and housing placement, with an estimated $20 million price tag.

4. ICE court raids have ramped up in Southern California. Two state lawmakers introduce two bills to try to stop it (kvcrnews.org) — Rancho Cucamonga’s county courthouse has become a hotspot for ICE arrests, with immigrant advocates reporting dozens of detentions there and across the Inland Empire. State lawmakers are now pushing two bills to limit federal arrests in and around California courthouses, as local public defenders warn the raids may discourage residents from appearing in court or supporting loved ones’ cases.
