• Damaged underground cable caused Rancho Mirage outage; Southern California Edison says generators will likely run 3 to 5 more days (kesq.com) — Rancho Mirage residents near Frank Sinatra and Da Vall drives just endured a major power outage caused by a damaged underground cable, and temporary generators may keep running for three to five more days. While electricity is back, some neighbors say the noisy generators are disrupting sleep and work, and Southern California Edison has yet to fully explain placement decisions or provide a firm repair timeline.
