• Zeta Restores Broadband Service, Refuses to Pay Extortion for Cyberattack (therivervalleytimes.com) — Rancho Murieta’s hometown internet provider Zeta Broadband has fully restored service after a massive July 19 cyberattack and says no customer data was compromised. The company refused to pay the extortion demand, instead partnering with Cloudflare and permanently upgrading its defenses to better protect Rancho Murieta customers and other Northern California communities from future large-scale outages.
