• RMA Revives Security Committee, Reviews South Gate Renovation Plans (therivervalleytimes.com) — Rancho Murieta’s homeowners association is reviving a security committee to explore taking over gate security and is moving ahead with long-discussed South Gate renovation plans, including water‑saving landscaping and a new fountain. Leaders also addressed recent crashes affecting Scott Road and the North Gate, welcomed a new general manager, and previewed July 4 activities and possible CPR training for residents.
   

• Levee Erosion Near Airport Prompts Repair Planning (therivervalleytimes.com) — Engineers are moving quickly to design repairs for levee erosion just downstream of the Rancho Murieta Airport, a key part of the flood system protecting local homes and farms. Reclamation District 800 also detailed homeless campsite removal near Meiss Road, ongoing storm‑related debt, and new emergency and evacuation planning that will guide future flood responses affecting Rancho Murieta.
