Here are the details for the upcoming competition:
- Event: Official USSA Sanctioned Steinholding Competition
- Date/ Time: Next Wednesday at 7pm
- Location: Selma's Chicago Pizzeria & Tap Room, Rancho Santa Margarita
- Prizes: An Official Oktoberfest Porcelain Stein and a restaurant gift card for the winner.
- The Ultimate Stakes: The competitor with the longest hold time across all three locations gets the opportunity to advance and compete at the USSA Nationals tournament!
Quick Rules Refresher for Competitors:
- The Stein: Must be held out straight in front of the body, parallel to the ground, with a completely unbent elbow.
- The Grip: Must hold the handle with a closed fist—no thumbs resting on top, and no off-hands providing support.
- Zero Spillage: Any liquid spilling or dripping over the edge means immediate disqualification, so hold steady!
