• Five LA County Beach Areas Remain Under Bacteria Warnings (mynewsla.com) — If you're heading into the water in Redondo Beach, be aware that ocean areas near the pier and at Sapphire Street are under bacteria warnings, meaning you should avoid swimming or surfing there for now. A separate warning at Avenue I has been lifted, but nearby beaches like Paradise Cove and parts of Torrance and Topanga remain affected. You can check the county's hotline or website for the latest test results.
