• San Mateo County Superior Court Invites K-8 Students to Share Their Creativity (ca.gov) — San Mateo County's Superior Court is inviting K–8 students to submit original artwork themed "A Day in My Community," with entries mailed or delivered to the county courthouse at 400 County Center in Redwood City by November 6. Winning students from local schools can earn cash prizes, and selected pieces will brighten jury assembly rooms, giving young Redwood City artists a chance to showcase their vision of community life.
   

• These Two Judges Will Lead San Mateo County Courts (patch.com) — San Mateo County Superior Court, headquartered in Redwood City, has chosen Judge Rachel E. Holt as its next presiding judge and Judge Jeffrey R. Finigan as assistant presiding judge starting January 1, 2027. Their leadership will guide how local courts operate and serve residents, influencing everything from case management to public access to justice for people living in and around Redwood City.
