• Vacaville student among air district art contest winners (timesheraldonline.com) — Rio Vista is part of the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District, which just honored 12 student winners in its 2026 Clean Air Art Contest and will feature their work on stickers and giveaways at community events. While this year’s top prize in the third-grade category went to a Vacaville student, the program highlights regional efforts to connect kids with clean-air awareness that also benefits Rio Vista residents.
