Office Manager Suspected Of Embezzling Over $180K From Rohnert Park Business Arrested
Rohnert Park police arrested a woman after investigating alleged embezzlement, forgery, and check fraud.
ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — An office manager that police suspect embezzled more than $180,000 from a Rohnert Park business and committed forgery and check fraud against the company was arrested, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
Officers and detectives arrested Marie Catherine Weerts Tuesday in the area of Donahue Avenue in Santa Rosa.
The department’s Patrol Division opened the investigation Sept. 30.

Weerts was taken to the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility, where authorities booked her on suspicion embezzlement, check fraud, and forgery.
