• Rohnert Park Cotati Library Closing for Four-Month Overhaul (ksro.com) — Rohnert Park Cotati Regional Library will shut its doors September 1 for a four‑month renovation, with reopening targeted for January 2027. During construction, residents can use a temporary "Library To‑Go" site on State Farm Drive and relocated programs like children's storytime at the local recreation center. Expect upgraded kids' areas, computers, furniture, and HVAC when it reopens.
   

• 21 North Bay eateries receive $5,000 business grants (pressdemocrat.com) — A North Bay grant program has awarded $5,000 to 21 small restaurants, including Sam's Mediterranean Deli & Cafe in Rohnert Park. The money can go toward kitchen equipment, technology, staff training, or other needs, helping independent eateries stay resilient. Overall, the statewide fund has now assisted more than 2,300 restaurants and caterers.
