• New Rapid Link Bus Service Connects Lincoln, Roseville and Sacramento Light Rail Starting October 1 (rosevilletoday.com) — A new Rapid Link express bus will start October 1, giving Roseville riders direct weekday service between Lincoln, major Roseville stops like the Galleria and local medical centers, and Sacramento's Watt/I‑80 light rail station. Fares will be free at launch, and the route is part of a broader regional plan to improve South Placer mobility and connections to Sacramento transit. Check current schedules before riding, as times may change.
   

• Starbucks is closing dozens of stores across California — here's where (nypost.com) — One of the Starbucks locations slated to close is at 10441 Fairway Drive in Roseville, part of 64 reported shutdowns across California.
