• Hopland Evacuees Return as Feliz Fire Reaches 50% Containment (mendolocal.news) — Salmon Creek firefighters were among several Humboldt County crews who drove down before dawn Sunday to help battle the Feliz Fire near Hopland, which is now 50% contained. Evacuees have been allowed back home, but crews are still working hotspots across nearly 900 burned acres as investigators continue to look into the fire’s cause.
