- Thanks to Golden Door Spa in San Marcos, children who are victims, or witnesses of domestic violence, sexual assault, or trafficking will be interviewed in a new room at the San Diego City Attorney's Office's. The room will be located at Your Safe Place and will include child-sized furniture, toys for kids from diverse cultures, and will also have two-way computer monitors for observation in a safe environment. - According to Zumper, the median price of a one-bedroom apartment in San Diego rose to $2,400 last month, while two-bedroom units now costs $3,180. San Diego is now the seventh most costly for renters in the country. Looking for a less expensive place to live? Consider Tucson, Akron, and Wichita where you can rent a one-bedroom unit for $700. - By Arbor Day 2023, Urban Corps planted 2,000 trees throughout San Diego County as part of CAL FIRE Urban Forest Expansion and Improvement, bringing a total of 8,500 trees planted by Urban Corps over the past three years. Founded in 1989 Urban Corps is a certified local conservation corps and charter high school where students receive paid training in environmental and conservation work for the community. (Patch)
