Man Fatally Shot Near Chicano Park In Barrio Logan
The suspect fled north into Chicano Park, according to the San Diego Police Department.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was shot and killed Tuesday night in the Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said.
Officers responded at about 10:05 p.m. to an anonymous report of a shooting in the 2000 block of National Avenue, near Chicano Park, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police found a 64-year-old man on the sidewalk. He died at the scene. The man's name was withheld pending family notification.

The suspect, described as a Latino man in his 20s, fled north into Chicano Park, according to police. Homicide detectives were investigating and planned to canvass the area for witnesses.
