New Nothing Bundt Cakes in San Diego-Clairemont Set to Celebrate

The Nothing Bundt Cakes that opened in San Diego-Clairemont on August 25 is gearing up to celebrate with the community in a big way. Owners Abi and Mike Stout are opening several in the area in the coming months, but Clairemont holds a special place in their hearts. “Clairemont is where we started our business journey,” shared Abi DePue-Stout, who along with husband Mike, owns the new bakery. “In the mid-90s, I had a catering company in Clairemont and served as President of the Clairemont Chamber of Commerce while Mike was Area Manager for a local restaurant chain. Mike even proposed to me in Clairemont before whisking me away for wine tasting in Temecula.” The Stouts are excited to be hosting their grand opening next week – for details, see below.

  • Community Appreciation Days – The following will receive 20% off in-bakery cake purchases on their designated day (with badge/ID or uniform): Monday – Healthcare Workers, Tuesday - Teachers and School Staff, Wednesday - First Responders and Military
• Thursday, September 24
  • Madison High School Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to benefit Madison High School.
  • 10 a.m. - Ribbon Cutting with the Clairemont Chamber of Commerce
• Friday, September 25
  • City Employee Appreciation Day – City Employees will receive 20% off in-bakery cake purchases with badge/ID.
• Saturday, September 26
  • 9 a.m. – Free Bundtlets for a Year! The first 50 Guests age 18+ will receive a “Free Bundtlets for a Year” punch card, which can be redeemed for one (1) Bundtlet per month for twelve (12) months at the San Diego-Clairemont, CA bakery
  • Spin the Prize Wheel – No purchase necessary. One spin per person.
